Universities in Madrid
Education is essential for the people in Madrid. This can be seen from the existence of more educational institutions, for example universities. In Madrid, there are six public universities which have been built in educating the people of Madrid. The universities are Universidad Complutense, Universidad Autónoma, Universidad Carlos III, Universidad Politécnica, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Universidad Comillas. There are many courses which are offered at the universities, from social sciences to law, business studies to psychology. Besides, medicine, political science, architecture, linguistics, and philosophy are also offered at every six public universities. The universities will produce more and more intelligent people.

Sports are very famous among the people of Madrid. Since sports are important in Madrid, there are more athletes which have been born in bringing excellence of sports to Madrid. There are three teams which have been playing in La Liga. Madrid – City of Magnificent Monuments
Madrid is known and famous for the varieties of its great monuments. Since 16th until 19th century, Madrid has a great diversity of monuments which are built in some famous places in Madrid. The uniqueness and beauty of the monuments are still preserved and can be seen by the new generations. Before 16th century, Walls of Madrid, Iglesia de San Nicolas de los Servitas, Iglesia de San Pedro el Grande, and Casa de los Lujanes had been built. Whereas in 16th century, Capilla del Obispo and Casa Cisneros were existed. In 17th century, Plaza Mayor and Townhall had been built.
